Karigari began with a simple thought — beautiful sarees shouldn't have to feel out of reach.
I have always loved the way a saree can transform how you feel. Sometimes it is something you choose for a wedding, sometimes for a festival, and sometimes simply because you felt like dressing up on an ordinary day.
But finding the right saree isn't always easy. The choices can feel endless, quality can be inconsistent, and prices often don't make sense.
So we decided to build Karigari.
Not as a brand that claims to reinvent Indian fashion. And not as a label that believes everything needs to be handwoven, handcrafted, or extraordinarily expensive to be beautiful.
Karigari is about finding sarees that look beautiful, feel special, and are still accessible.
I carefully curate designs across fabrics, colours, and styles — from festive pieces to sarees you can wear more often. My collection is inspired by Indian aesthetics, but chosen for the way women dress today.
Some pieces would be bold. Some would be understated. Some are meant for celebrations, while others might simply become the saree you reach for when you want to feel a little more put together.
Because for me, a saree doesn't need a special occasion. It just needs to feel like you.
